Featured wine - Denbies Whitedowns Rosé Brut
Sometimes, it just has to be pink fizz – indulgent, flamboyant, and just a little bit showy – and this example from Denbies in Surrey fits the bill perfectly. It’s playful and approachable, with a beautiful pale salmon appearance and appealing aromas of dried red berries.
A non-vintage blend of a different grape varieties from one of England’s largest producers, this dry, easy-drinking rosé doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s a very enjoyable and refreshing wine, without any harsh acidity, sure to brighten any occasion. It’d be perfect for a summer picnic, but don’t save it for then. It’s just the thing to brighten up a long winter evening or bring a sparkle to Valentine’s Day. It’s great value too.
