Bolney Estate is one of the best examples of an English vineyard that has created a pleasant visitor experience without compromising their excellent reputation as a winemaker. The wines are widely respected and the whole atmosphere is one of understated quality.
The large café and cellar door shop sits above the warehouse and with a wide balcony almost overhanging the vines, it is one of the very best places to enjoy a glass of English wine with a bite to eat. A wide variety of tour options and packages make for excellent gifts, too.
Bolney Estate is just off the A272, very close to the A23 about 14 miles north of Brighton. It is the vineyard formerly known as Bookers.
Why not visit this vineyard without worrying about who does the driving?
English Wine Tasting Tours run regular tours to this vineyard from May through to November.
Tours run directly from Central London (pick-up point near London Bridge), and include transport, tour and tasting at two vineyards and a pub lunch. So you can enjoy your day without worrying about driving as well as bringing home some delicious reminders of your day.
Private tours are also available for both large and small groups. Collection available from London and across the South East. To find out more contact info@EnglishWineTastingTours.co.uk or call 01424 777111.
