Planting and establishing a vineyard is an expensive and slow process, so for the first few years Clayhill grapes will be going to the ‘English Wines Group’ where they will process and use them to make more of their award winning wines, which are marketed under the Chapel Down label.

Clayhill eventually hope to make their own wines on site along with grape juices, apple juices and liqueurs.

With a smart new tea room open in June 2017, this is a welcome new addition to our list of visitor-friendly vineyards.
