One of the few English vineyards with a sea view, Polgoon’s delightful cellar door farm shop makes it worthy of a visit at any time of year.

2016 also saw the addition of an outdoor café where you can enjoy a crab sandwich or other light snack with a glass of their wine.

Still and sparkling wines are made on-site, including one of the country’s very few heavier style red wines – a lightly oaked blend of Pinot Noir and Rondo.

Please be careful using the postcode in your Sat Nav, don’t turn off the roundabout, stay on the A30. As you head towards Lands’ End, Polgoon is on the right hand side where the flags are. If you can type ‘Polgoon Vineyard & Orchard’ into Google maps or on your sat nav rather than the postcode please do.

The closest train station to Polgoon is Penzance, the end of the line for trains from London Paddington and lots of other destinations. At just over a mile away, it’s a pleasant and mostly level walk from the station to the vineyard, through the town and just beyond, or alternatively a fairly short taxi ride.
