Tours on Sundays and Mondays accommodated on request

Discover the award-winning wines of Cornwall, on a full or half day guided tour around the stunning Cornish countryside.

Fancy something a little different on your holiday to Cornwall this year? Visit the beautiful vineyards and wineries and sample the delights on offer at each, as well as a gourmet lunch at one of the locations.

Cornish Wine Tours are the first providers of their kind offering full and half day tours around the beautiful Cornish countryside visiting the award-winning vineyards and wineries.

What does a Full Day tour look like?

You will be collected from a point in Padstow (or close surrounding area) and taken to visit three beautiful locations throughout the day. Usually the day starts overlooking the vines at Camel Valley, trying a combination of their award-winning still and sparkling wines – the perfect start to any day!

It’s then time to head to Knightor Winery and sit in their idyllic courtyard while exploring what they have to offer, from a range of whites, reds, and sparkling. As the afternoon approaches we make our way to our third destination, usually Trevibban Mill, where the modern surroundings and picturesque views over the valley make it a perfect spot to taste a wide selection of their wines and enjoy a three-course lunch at the onsite restaurant ‘Appletons’.

A day of wine tasting without the hassle of driving means you can sit back and relax and take in the sights while Cornish Wine Tours chauffeur you for the day from vineyard to vineyard.

I’m not sure I have the time for a full day

If time isn’t on your side, a half day tour is a trimmed down version of the above, and instead takes in two vineyards and includes a light tapas style lunch.

Do I need to be a wine expert?

You need no prior knowledge whatsoever, just an interest and some time to discover the amazing Cornish Wine that you may have not tried before.

Depending on the time of year, tour guests will get to see the vineyards at various stages throughout the growing season, and will learn some basic information about how wine is made and some of the characteristics of an English still or sparkling wine.

Where do the tours start?

Tours run daily from Padstow, but alternative pick up locations can be catered for if you have a group booking or are within the surrounding area of Padstow.

We can also cater for bespoke or private / corporate bookings, just get in touch to see how we can tailor a day to suit your needs!

Special Events

As well as visiting vineyards, Cornish Wine Tours organise other outings from time to time, so special locations, such as the famous open air Minack Theatre or to popup restaurants showcasing delicious local produce.

A visit to Cornwall’s first ‘plough to bottle’ distillery at Colwith Farm near Lostwithiel, for an exclusive tour and tasting of their fantastic Gin. You will learn what goes into making each and every bottle starting at the beginning of the process with the humble Colwith Farm potato.

Lunch is calling and there is no better place than overlooking the vineyard at Trevibban Mill near Padstow to have a taste of four of their wines, alongside a delicious combination of charcuterie and cheese, while we admire the view and learn a bit more about Trevibban and their award-winning wine.

It’s then time to move to our third stop of the day, which sees us finish with the fantastic Padstow Brewing Company, within their dedicated tasting rooms in the town centre. Here you will enjoy a tasting flight of six beers and this gives you a chance to get to grips with all of the unique styles the brewery produce right in the heart of Padstow.
