Albury Organic Vineyard is in the Surrey Hills between Guildford and Dorking, close to Newlands Corner and the Silent Pool after which their still rosé is named.
A visitor building at the bottom of the vineyard provides a cellar door and bookable tours are available on a number of dates throughout the year. Visitors can stroll around the vineyard and get a stunning view over the Surrey Hills from the top. A glass of wine and a cheese platter can also be enjoyed on the terrace.
There is also a membership scheme which includes invitation to exclusive open days as well as to join in the harvest.
Organic and Biodynamic Standards
The vineyard is certified biodynamic by Demeter. The wines are made to organic standards.
The first wine produced was a rosé, famed for being served to the Queen on the Royal Barge in 2012. A sparkler followed in 2014.
